It occupies 40,000 square feet (with a total property area of 112,000 square feet) and has a huge water globe that’s 18 feet in diameter at the front of its property. But that’s not all; the water globe also emanates fog and is decked out in LED lights to give you a fantastic light show.
On the roof of the dispensary is 13 acrylic lotus flowers, which are also studded with LED lights. What’s really cool about these is there’s a ground floor control panel which visitors can use to control how the LED lights are displayed. This display was created by Todd Moyer, who’s made something similar for the renowned festival Burning Man.
Another outstanding feature of Planet 13 is its digital graffiti wall. You can put your name and a personal message on it by using one of their awesome laser-tipped spray cans.
Magic Not Just on the Outside, but Inside Too
Just witnessing the magic that goes on outside can leave you in disbelief. But it doesn’t just stop there!
Once you step foot inside the building, there’s an illuminated path that makes it look like you’re stepping in a creek with koi fish. The path is pressure-sensitive, which causes ripples to appear wherever you’re standing.
It’s not always a koi creek though. Sometimes, this path turns into a digital soccer field, where you can kick around a virtual soccer ball with your buddies.
In the dispensary itself, every half-hour, you’ll see various orbs lit up from the inside. They’re hung from the ceiling and float around ethereally before being tucked away again.
You’ll also witness a “3D Projection Visual Experience,” which is essentially a collection of laser visuals on the ceiling.

Inside the dispensary itself, Planet 13 sells both medical and recreational cannabis products. This means you can find capsules, vapes, and other products.
