Work to Begin on Sunridge Heights Parkway Phase 3 Extension
The City of Henderson will begin work August 19 on phase 3 of the Sunridge Heights Parkway Extension west of Executive Airport Drive. The project consists of 1,100 feet of roadway construction for two lanes of traffic in each direction including median islands, street lighting, and a traffic signal at Executive Airport Drive.
Phase 1 of the extension was completed on August 10 connecting Eastern Avenue to Maryland Parkway. Phase 2, connecting Maryland Parkway to Executive Airport Drive, is currently in planning.
The Phase 3 project is expected to be completed in January 2020.
Funding of $1,199,999 was received from the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada and the City of Henderson Department of Utility Services.
