The production is a combination of stirring music, sultry dance and illusions that have never been seen before, specifically created for this one-of-a-kind extravaganza that is perfect for a Las Vegas showroom. Steeped with the influence from the work of Jules Vern and the imagination of H.G. Wells and the inventions of Nikola Tesla, “Triumph…” is set to transform audiences and begin its journey through an alternative history at the Las Vegas Hilton Theater, November 22nd, at 7:30 p.m.

“Triumph…” embraces the steampunk theme of a Victorian fantasy and alternative history that follows two champions on the quest to revive the time warp continuum. Through the use of time travel, the champions journey back to historic moments in time to visit characters and places including Kublai Khan at The Great Wall of China and Nikola Tesla at the 1893 World’s Fair. On their path to enlightenment, they are tasked with righting the wrongs in history in order to gain the knowledge they need to complete their quest.

“Triumph…” was inspired by the works of K.W. Jeter, who coined the term “Steampunk” to describe a genre of storytelling enhanced by dress, dance etc., heavily influenced by the Victorian era and alternative history.

“Larry and Rafael are bringing to Las Vegas an innovative and original show that will introduce the Steampunk world to a whole new audience,” said Bill Gibson, producer of “Triumph…” “By incorporating the Steampunk genre, we hope to create a cult following much like the Rocky Horror Picture Show. In fact, audience members are encouraged to dress up in the steampunk fashion, and the showroom will have designated special seating for those who do. These guests will then be incorporated into the show in a form of audience participation that Vegas has not witnessed before.”

Truly the first of its kind in Las Vegas, “Triumph…” features the illusions of Larry and Rafael, the artistic direction of award-winning choreographer Chet Walker and scenic designer Kelly Tighe.
