18th Annual Heart Conference Presented by Children’s Heart Center Nevada and Children’s Heart Foundation Held on October 18
Each year Children’s Heart Center Nevada partners with Children’s Heart Foundation to present the Annual Heart Conference.
For the 18th annual event, the conference will be held on Saturday, Oct. 18 at the MGM Grand Hotel Conference Center on the Las Vegas Strip. Expected to draw more than 1,200 attendees, the conference is designed to provide continuing medical educational program for all health care providers caring for infants, children and adults with congenital heart disease.
Education is an important part of the mission of Children’s Heart Foundation as we work to make a difference in the lives of children with heart conditions. One of every 100 babies is born with congenital heart disease (CHD). Fifty years ago, many of these babies could not survive. Today, people with congenital heart disease are living long, healthy lives due to medical and surgical advances and expert care – but there is still much more to be done. It is our hope that this annual event continues to improve the level of care provided to those impacted by CHD.
