2010 Official Pre-Party of Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards at miX Lounge at Mandalay Bay
Celebrities of the daytime TV world sipped on exquisite cocktails and took in phenomenal views of the Las Vegas Strip at miX Lounge at THEhotel at Mandalay Bay for the Official Pre-Party of the 2010 Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards Saturday, June 26 (Pictured above: Molly Burnett and Casey Deidrick from Days of our Lives – Photo credit: David Becker).

Upon arrival, celebrities from soap opera favorites such as Days of Our Lives, Guiding Light, The Bold & The Beautiful, As The World Turns, One Life To Live, The Young and The Restless, General Hospital, and All My Children walked the red carpet before heading upstairs to miX Lounge to celebrate the evening before their potential Emmy win. The cast from The Lion King, showing exclusively at Mandalay Bay, also made an appearance as they prepare for their special Emmy performance at the awards show.

Emmy-nominated Molly Burnett from Days of Our Lives showed her DJ skills as she spun fun and upbeat tracks for celebrity guests and friends. The atmosphere at miX Lounge was vibrant as celebrities hit the dance floor, relaxed inside at a table and chatted with friends and family, or went out on the deck to get some fresh air and to take in the best views of the Las Vegas Strip.

The Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards will be broadcast from Las Vegas for the first time tonight on the CBS Television Network. The Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards recognize outstanding achievement in all fields of daytime television production and are presented to individuals and programs broadcast from 2 a.m.- 6 p.m. during the 2009 calendar year. The 37th Annual Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards is a presentation of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences in cooperation with the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
