2013 Mega Stack Poker Series Main Event Takes Place at Caesars Palace
In conjunction with the World Series of Poker (WSOP), the 2013 Mega Stack Poker Series is currently taking place at Caesars Palace, with the main event having begun Tuesday, July 9, 2013 (Photo credit: Caesars Entertainment).
A total of 2161 players entered the Championship Event during the three days of entry, which ended yesterday, with a $1,080 buy-in for 30,000 chips. As of yesterday, only 382 players remain, who will play in the finals and compete for a piece of the total prize pool of $2,096,170. The main event could last up to six days, with the final day of play occurring Sunday, July 14, 2013. The first place winner will take home $340,628.
