3rd Annual Grand Dragon Master Baccarat Championship at The Venetian & The Palazzo Las Vegas Sept. 26
The Las Vegas leg of the 3rd Annual Grand Dragon Master Baccarat Championship kicks off at The Venetian & The Palazzo Las Vegas on September 26, 2014.
The total global prize pool, which includes Las Vegas Sands properties in Macao, Singapore, and Sands Bethlehem, is USD$10,000,000 and players in the Las Vegas leg of the championship will be playing for a portion of the $1.59 million prize pool.
The traditional table game – best known as a favorite pastime of James Bond – has taken on a new level of popularity with American audiences. The Grand Dragon Master Baccarat Championship provides baccarat enthusiasts the ultimate tournament experience. The Venetian and The Palazzo Las Vegas play host to the Golden Dragon and Ruby Dragon rounds of the tournament. Each tournament is subject to official rules.
The Golden Dragon Baccarat Tournament will take place from September 26 through September 29 and October 3 through October 6. This tournament features a $30,000 daily cash prize pool. For the first time, all Grazie members will receive one complimentary tournament entry per day. Unlimited rebuys can be made for $50. The top three daily total finishers in the Golden Dragon Baccarat Tournament will advance to the semi-finals of the Ruby Dragon Baccarat Tournament™.
The Ruby Dragon Baccarat Tournament boasts a $50,000 daily prize pool and runs from October 9 through October 11. All Grazie members will receive one complimentary tournament entry per day. Unlimited rebuys can be made for $250. The top four daily total finishers in the Ruby Dragon Baccarat Tournament will advance to the semi-final round on October 12. The top six finishers will receive complimentary entry to the invite-only $1 Million Royal Dragon Baccarat Tournament in November.
The top three finishers from the Royal Dragon Baccarat Tournament will advance to the Global Final at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore on March 26, 2015. Each advancer to the Global Final will receive transportation to Singapore, accommodations at Marina Bay Sands, and a food and beverage allowance for the player and a guest. In addition, each advancer will receive one complimentary entry to the quarter-finals of the Global Final Tournament.
