The D Casino Hotel Director, Richard Wilk, is known for creating out-of-this-world experiences for A-list celebrities here in Sin City. Last week, he decided to do something a little different… he created one WITH celebrities. So, how does a highly-acclaimed Vegas name celebrate a 50th? …By giving his friends and clients a chance to share “An Evening With a Couple of Sopranos”! Actors Steve “Baccala” Schirripa and Vincent “Big Pussy” Pastore of the hit TV show The Sopranos gave Vegas a taste of the east last Saturday night. The Brooklyn-Bronx boys held a Q&A for die-hard fans as they chowed down on some top-notch meatballs, chicken piccata, and pasta.

Richard is constantly treating his superstar guests to the D’s award-winning dining hot spot, Andiamo. Well, the tables turned (literally) when the steakhouse moved, buffet-style, to the 12th floor Detroit Ballroom, for Richard’s own Italian-themed extravaganza (that Andiamo aroma is one-of-a-kind).

As if the party wasn’t entertaining enough, there was a special MC for the night – “Dean Martin” (Drew Anthony). Considering the uncanny resemblance and the spot-on vocals, it’s no surprise this tribute artist headlines his very own show, “Dean Lives”, nationwide. The hundreds of guests were pleasantly surprised when they were serenaded with Ain’t That a Kick in the Head, Volare, and That’s Amore. “Dean” was sure to pay homage to casino owner, Derek Stevens, who has a genuine love for this city and its entire history.

The familiar faces didn’t end there, as this event was fame-filled (from TV to tough guys)! Famous actor Chuck Zito, MMA icon and action star Randy Couture, his girlfriend (and actress) Mindy Robinson, Brett Raymer of Tanked, and Corey Harrison of Pawn Stars, were all there to support their buddy Richard during his milestone birthday. Many celebrities that wanted to be there but couldn’t sent video messages to wish Richard well. Some of those famous faces were Sebastian Stan, from Avengers: Infinity War, rocker Vince Neil, Dominic Purcell from Prison Break, Mark Boone from Sons of Anarchy and actor Dennis Quaid to name a few.

If one thing’s for sure about downtown Vegas, it’s that they “donut” skimp on desserts! Brett Raymer may be the star of Animal Planet’s hit show, but he is also the owner of the delicious Donut Mania! With several locations scattered among the city, Donut Mania is a wildly popular establishment, and Brett knew his pastries would just be the “icing” on top of a perfect birthday celebration! Dozens of gourmet donuts adorned the dessert table, while a separate table displayed an arrangement of donuts in the shape of a “50”. Richard quickly blew out all 50 candles and was eager to dig in, along with all his hungry guests.

From TV legends, to iconic impersonators, to an array of stars, to high-quality catering, the only thing left to say is – “fuhgeddaboudit”!
