A Holly Jolly Kick Off: Glittering Lights at Las Vegas Motor Speedway Launches Its 19th Season with The Bronx Wanderers and Other Las Vegas Entertainers
With music, laughter and holiday spirit, Glittering Lights presented by Goettl Air Conditioning & Plumbing launched its 19th season. The event featured a performance by The Bronx Wanderers packed full of holiday tunes and fan-favorites “Sweet Caroline” and “Bohemian Rapsody.” As Comedy Magician Adam London and Joanna from Sunny 106.5’s morning show counted down to turn on the lights, Santa Claus made his grand arrival through the tunnel in a bright red vintage car.

The award-winning, internationally acclaimed light park will be open every night through January 5. Las Vegas Motor Speedway will house the holiday spectacular of 2.5 miles of over 3 million dazzling lights.

Charitable Components
Continuing its 19-year tradition as southern Nevada’s premiere drive-thru light show, Glittering Lights hosts different initiatives to support local charities, churches and schools. When people drive through millions of twinkling lights at Las Vegas Motor Speedway…
- Speedway Children’s Charities receives a portion of each ticket sold. In fact, Glittering Lights and the PJ5K make up a large sum of the donations the charity grants to more than 50 children’s charities in southern Nevada.
- Goodwill of Southern Nevada collects clothing and household goods, transforming donated goods and monetary contributions into pathways to meaningful employment for Southern Nevadans in need. They offer a $5 discounted entry voucher to Glittering Lights when a donation of clothing or household items is made in store or at the entry gate.
- Area Boy Scout troops gain interpersonal, money management and leadership skills when guests purchase food and beverages from concessions manned by them. They also earn money for camp activities that lead to their growth and development.
