Adam London and Kevin Burke Thank Tourists at LVCVA’s Travel and Tourism Rally
Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority
(LVCVA) hosted a rally on Fremont Street on Wednesday. The rally, part of Travel and Tourism Week, was held in celebration of tourism in Southern Nevada. With more than 42 million visitors annually, tourism generates nearly $59 billion for the local economy in Las Vegas every year.

Adam London and Kevin Burke, stars of Laughternoon and Defending the Caveman at the D Las Vegas respectively, hosted games at the rally to thank tourists for being an economic essential in Las Vegas.

Tourists would play “Caveman Plinko” or “Pick a Duck” to win prizes such as food, drinks, merchandise and show tickets.

“Being a local, it’s easy to become jaded to the flashing lights and celebrations that happen around us every day,” said London. “Sometimes you need to take a step back and realize just why people travel from all over the world every day to come here.”

“Showtime at the D wanted to participate in the rally to thank tourists for being an essential part in making Las Vegas the greatest city in the world,” said Burke.
