Alejandro Fernández to perform at MGM Grand Garden Arena Sept. 15
Leading Latin pop star Alejandro Fernández will bring Mexican flare to the MGM Grand Garden Arena Thursday, Sept. 15 as part of this year’s Mexican Independence Day celebration.

Known as one of the most iconic voices in Mexican musical history, Alejandro Fernández will present his spectacular Confidencias World Tour and celebrate “El Grito,” Mexico’s Independencia. The international superstar will pay homage to Mexico with an exceptional mariachi, orchestra and vocal prowess, featuring a collection of his greatest hits including traditional “rancheras,” as well as famous pop hits and songs.

Renewed musical arrangements and innovative technology are included in the show which features mobile structures of more than 230 robotic lights dancing along with a giant screen giving life to breathtaking scenes from Mexico. The images portray some of Mexico’s most rich and vibrant resources – its people, traditions, architecture and folklore. The costumes also are fascinating, highlighted by handmade looms from the Mexican state of Chiapas, shawls from Michoacan and traditional “charro” suits from Jalisco.

Tickets start at $69 (not including applicable service charges) and go on sale Friday, March 4 at 10 a.m. PST and can be purchased online at www.AXS.com.
