Aliante Casino + Hotel + Spa to Host “Girl Code” vs. “Guy Code” Comedy Showdown
The stars of the hit MTV shows, “Girl Code” and “Guy Code,” will team up for a hysterical night of comedy on Saturday, July 12, inside Access Showroom at Aliante Casino + Hotel + Spa. “Guy Code” is the most-watched show in MTV2 history and led to the launch of “Girl Code,” which premiered on MTV in 2013 and has quickly gone viral as a national favorite. The shows feature various comedians, entertainers and athletes who share their stories of social ‘rules’ to follow for their respective genders.
The special comedy foursome is highlighted by Donnell Rawlings, who has earned an impressive resume including the host of “Staann’ Dup” on Starz In Black, lending his voice to the animated series, “Another Cat Names Rally,” partnering with Dave Chappelle on “The Chappelle Show” and numerous other roles on shows such as “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” and “The Wire,” and movies including “Spiderman II” and “Percentage.”
Joining Rawlings is: Jeff Dye, who has hosted “Numbnuts” and “Money from Strangers” on MTV, won the Giggles 10th Annual Laff-Off and earned his own Comedy Central series titled, “Comedy Central Presents Jeff Dye;” Tanisha Long, who has appeared on Comedy Central, VH1 and Fuse TV before becoming a regular on “Girl Code;” and Esther Ku, who debuted on the national comedy scene after being a finalist on season six of the hit NBC reality series, “Last Comic Standing.” Ku appears as the newest cast member to join Nick Cannon on the hit MTV2 comedy improv series, “Wild ‘N Out.”
