Ambrosia to Perform at The Cannery Casino August 20
Their songs have been at the top of the Billboard charts and continue to be enjoyed by a generation of fans. The pop/rock quartet known as Ambrosia is known for a number of hits including “Holdin’ On To Yesterday”, “How Much I Feel”, “You’re The Only Woman”, “Biggest Part Of Me” and “I Just Can’t Let Go”.
Ambrosia will perform at The Club inside the Cannery Casino August 20th at 8:30 p.m.
Ambrosia’s rise to fame might have been a bit unusual. Their name was meant to symbolize and represent their music–all shades, colors and styles. Their fusion of symphonic art rock and a produced pop sound caught the attention of a Los Angeles Philharmonic conductor who featured them in one of his concerts. Within a few years of that performance they had a record contract and two hit singles. Ambrosia achieved multi-platinum status with three #1 Billboard hits, two more would make it into the Top 10 and Top 20.
The group was honored with five Grammy nominations and is now celebrating its 40th anniversary!
