The Tuskegee Airmen were the first group of African-American military pilots who fought in World War II. Don E. Elder was part of the 99th Fighter Squadron which was sent to North Africa in April 1943 for combat duty.

“I am very excited to have had such an amazing person, such as Mr. Elder visit my show,” said Mike. “I wanted to give him this recognition in honor of Black History Month. This man is a part of history and it was so great speaking to him after the show”.
