The D is the only downtown casino where fans can enjoy Sigma Derby, and it’s one of only two locations in the entire city. For many gamblers, Sigma Derby is a piece of Las Vegas history that will forever remind them of placing bets with coins and biting their nails in anticipation as the tiny horses round the corner to the finish line. This nostalgic game marks the first of many features in the D’s Vintage Casino that will transport guests back in time in Sin City. In addition to Sigma Derby, the second-floor casino will be home to a wide assortment of classic coin-operated, three-reel slots including Double Diamond, Wild Cherry and Blazing 7s. Dreams of jackpots will continue as guests pull the old-fashioned handle on the Wheel of Fortune as throw-back jams reminiscent of eras past play throughout the casino floor.

The property is currently undergoing a significant renovation to transform the former Fitzgeralds into the D, scheduled for completion in the fall. When complete, the D will have one of the only two-level casinos in Las Vegas. The first-floor modern casino will deliver the latest in slots and tables games manned by the D’s playful dancing dealers. The second floor Vintage Casino floor will offer a unique old-school Vegas experience. The property also will introduce 638 remodeled contemporary rooms and suites, two new high-energy bars and daily live entertainment.

“The fact that we have the ability to create two distinct themes within one property is an exciting challenge. The two-level casino will have the all the modern amenities that guests love but also preserve the vintage charm that Las Vegas is known for,” said co-owner and CEO Derek Stevens.
