Apex Takes Vegas Nightlife to Soaring New Heights; The Palms’ Newest Crown Jewel Promises to Leave Guests on a High
There’s no denying, it’s better on top. Apex social club, located on the iconic 55th floor of the Palms Casino & Resort, is about to show you Las Vegas in a whole new way (Pictured: Apex Balcony).
The experience begins on the ground floor, where guests make their way through a corridor of black and midnight blue wall coverings. As the anticipation builds, guests will arrive at an oversized custom metal screen and two exclusive Apex elevators.

After guests ascend to the top of the hotel, an open-air social club awaits.
Guests will immediately be struck by the limitless 360-degree view of Las Vegas from Apex’s 4,500-square-foot outdoor patio and terrace. A glass floor-to-ceiling partition is retractable, which can be either be closed to trap energy inside or opened to let the party meet the sky.
The second-to-none scenery and the lively avant-garde social club are only the beginning of the Apex experience.

Guests will be also greeted by four incredible art pieces by Brooklyn-based artist Dustin Yellin, which he calls Pyschogeographies. Each weighing nearly 3,000 lbs, these humanoid sculptures are comprised of collage cut from magazines and books, laid down on glass and fused together with resin to create 3D paintings. The four pieces inside Apex are part of a larger collection of 120 sculptures that are typically displayed like that of the ancient Terracotta Soldiers. Works from Yellin’s Psychogeography series have been featured at the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center in New York City and at The John F. Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. The art pieces are part of one-of-a-kind art program interwoven throughout the entire resort.
To complement the stunning view and venue, bartenders and mixologists will craft to-die-for cocktails and age-old favorites served over a statement bar with bronzed metal trim, midnight blue stone and ombre glass.
Of course, guests can also indulge in VIP bottle service, all while looking down on the bustling city below.
“I envisioned this rooftop to beat as the new pulse of Las Vegas,” Apex designer Alessandro Munge said. “To engage the senses and build a true sense of place, we designed the rooftop to dramatize the connection with the Nevada sky though plays of color and light.”
Andy Masi, whose Clique Hospitality group will operate the venue, said, “This venue has a status and cachet that is pretty much unmatched, and Las Vegas has always been a world leader when it comes to nightlife. Why not have a few drinks on top of the world?”
