Arabian Nights to Make a Stop at Paris Las Vegas Nov. 3
Arabian Nights returns to Paris Las Vegas with a performance inside the Paris Las Vegas Ballroom 9 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 3 (Pictured: Ragheb Subhi Alama).
Ragheb Subhi Alama’s fame came after Studio El Fan with the release of his debut single “Bukra Byebrom Dulabak” (Your Luck Will Change Tomorrow) followed by yearly albums and number-one hit singles such as “Ya Rait” (I Wish), “‘Aan Jad” (Seriously) and “Alby Asheq’ha” (My Heart Adores Her) which was the first Arabic song in history to be made into a music video. Alama continued his success with the release of his chart-topping albums Saharony El Leil (2001), Tab Leh (2003), El Hob El Kebeer (2004) and Baa’sha’ak (2008), the latter which earned the artist the Platinum certification from Virgin Megastores for its record sales.
Bassem Feghali started his comedy career by impersonating the famous singer Sabah. He then went on to impersonations and mimicry of many other Lebanese and world celebrities including Nawal Al Zoughbi, Haifa Wehbe, Fairouz, Shakira, Marilyn Monroe, Marwa, Nancy Ajram, Elissa, and Mariam Nour. He has also impersonated historical figures such as Ivette Sursok, Maggi Farah and Miss Lebanon pageant contestants, such as Lamita Franjieh. Feghali is known for his ability to imitate the voices of personalities he impersonates.
Hussan Al Rassam started his career at a young age as a singer but his success came later in life with his album Al Agrobah (The Scorpion). Al-Rassam joined forces with Abbas Chechan, a popular Iraqi poet, and recorded new singles based on Chechan’s poems. One such single was made by Al Rassam featuring three other Iraqi singers for the Iraq national football team, Jeeb El Kass which in English means bring the trophy/cup. It became the official song for the team and was played when Iraq won the 2007 Asian Cup.
Divanessa Nassar is a Lebanese violinist. She was just nine years old when she started playing the violin, her music is a fusion of occidental grooves and oriental spirits. Nassar is the most anticipated violin player in the Middle East and portrays individual musical virtuosity and the sharpest of ears for what a global audience wants to hear.
