ARIA Resort & Casino Announces Major Upgrades to Fitness Center
ARIA Resort & Casino is “pumping up” the guest experience with sweeping upgrades to its Fitness Center. The luxury resort now features some of the most technologically advanced equipment on the market including treadmills and strength machines from Technogym – the same products supplied to athletes at the Olympic Games – as well as an infinity rock climbing wall.

A cryotherapy chamber also will be introduced for restorative sessions post workout.

“Recognizing that health and wellness is important to our guests when they travel, we wanted to provide the best facilities to accommodate their needs,” said Paul Berry, ARIA’s vice president of hotel operations. “Upgrading the Fitness Center with smart, innovative equipment reflects our commitment to forward thinking, adaptability and always keeping the guest experience top of mind.”

Technogym’s equipment has the capability to wirelessly connect and communicate with other devices, including mobile phones, enabling users to track, save and share biometric and training data. The machines create a crossover between exercise and entertainment with access to immersive workout experiences, popular streaming services and social media networks via hi-definition LCD monitors.

Nerio Alessandri, president and founder of Technogym, said, “Technogym is proud to be chosen by ARIA to provide the finest, most advanced equipment and technology solutions for its hotel guests. ARTIS and SKILL LINE are the result of 30 years of innovation in the wellness field, ensuring the utmost in terms of design, connectivity, sustainability and performance.”

With the upgrades, the Fitness Center at ARIA also added the option of rock climbing for gripping and sweat-dripping sessions. Guests can take their fitness to new heights on the Treadwall – a stand-up conveyor belt with various speeds and surfaces meant to simulate scaling a rock formation.

For fitness enthusiasts, rest and recovery is just as important as exercise, especially while traveling. Acknowledging this important stage of the training regimen, ARIA will introduce a cryotherapy chamber to the Fitness Center.  The device exposes the body to sub-freezing temperatures for a short period of time, which helps with pain management and reducing inflammation after physical activity.

The 6,000-square-foot Fitness Center is located adjacent to The Spa & Salon at ARIA. With floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the pool deck, the space is a destination gym for the health-conscious traveler.
