Award-Winning Local Band, The Melancholics, to Perform at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts September 28
Local Las Vegas band, The Melancholics, will be performing at Cabaret Jazz at The Smith Center on Wednesday, September 28 at 7:00p.m.

Showcasing new original material from their latest indie release, “More Than You Can Chew,” the audience should expect to hear musical creations that are a blend of alternative rock, world beat, island folk, jam band and even Brit-pop. The Las Vegas-based quintet includes singer Talmadge Pearsall, bassist and singer Dwight Aquinaldo, drummer Edward Malik and guitarists Phillip Chamberlain and Brian Lusk. For this rare live performance, a few special guests will join the Melancholics on stage.

Started as a coffeehouse duo in California, the now award-winning quintet currently stands in the Reverb Nation’s top 10 list of bands, musicians and recording artists in Las Vegas. The Melancholics have performed at several entertainment venues including The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas, House of Blues, The Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas and the L.A. Fairplex.

Guests can purchase tickets online at http://www.TheSmithCenter.com/. Tickets range from $20 to $30 a piece.
