Aziz Ansari to Perform at The Pearl at The Palms Dec. 11

Comedian Aziz Ansari brings his Dangerously Delicious Tour to The Pearl Concert Theater inside the Palms Casino Resort on Saturday, Dec. 11, 2011 at 8:00 p.m.

Known for his comedy on the big screen in movies such as “Get Him to the Greek” and on network television as a regular cast member of NBC’s Parks and Recreation, Aziz Ansari has developed an extensive fan base. Ansari has clearly established himself as one of the biggest names in comedy. Entertainment Weekly recently named him one of the top 12 “Future Stars of Comedy,” and separately one of 2009’s Breakout TV Stars. Paste Magazine named him one of the Top 10 Comedians of the Decade. The Hollywood Reporter said that Ansari “…has become one of the most prolific writers and performers on the comedy scene in recent years.”

This past January, Ansari released an hour long standup special on Comedy Central titled, “Intimate Moments for a Sensual Evening.” The special and subsequent DVD/CD was a very successful release for the comedian and the album continues to be a mainstay on iTunes’ comedy best-seller list. Ansari has also become a regular on the late night circuit with recent memorable appearances on “The Late Show with David Letterman,” “The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien” and “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”

Ansari appeared in many hit films including “Funny People,” “I Love You, Man” and “Observe and Report” after rising to fame on television as a member of MTV’s “Human Giant.” He is currently developing three films for Judd Apatow and Universal with Director Jason Woliner.
