Blues-Infused Rock N’ Roll Legends Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band to Perform at Fremont Street Experience, Sept. 14
GRAMMY-nominated guitarist, singer and songwriter, Kenny Wayne Shepherd and his band will take over the 3rd Street Stage at Fremont Street Experience for a full-length performance on Saturday, Sept. 14.

Beginning at 9 p.m., music fans of all ages can gather under the iconic Viva Vision canopy as the modern musical vanguards perform iconic hits including “Blue on Black,” “Lay It Down,” “Deja Voodoo” and “Woman Like You.”

With over 20 years in his recording career, Kenny Wayne Shepherd established himself as a recording artist at the age of 16 when he signed his first record deal and released his debut album Ledbetter Heights, which peaked at No. 2 on Billboard Top Blues Albums. After delivering four more albums, Shepherd released his long-awaited first live album, Live! In Chicago, which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Blues chart and featured guest appearances by legendary blues artists including Hubert Sumlin, Willie “Big Eyes” Smith and Bryan Lee.

Shepherd has since released his eighth studio album, Lay It Down, which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard Blues and spent seven weeks at the top of the charts. Continuing to make a name for himself in the music industry, Kenny Wayne Shepherd teamed up with Noah Hunt, Chris “Whipper” Layton, Kevin McCormick and Joe Krown to form the Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band.
