Boyd Gaming’s 40th Anniversary Celebration Concludes with $400,000 Giveaway; Linda P. takes home $40,000 grand prize
On Saturday, Sept. 5, Linda Poleski of Henderson, Nevada, took home a $40,000 grand prize in Boyd Gaming’s 40th Anniversary $400,000 Giveaway. Thirty-nine runner-up winners also took home $10,000 each.
“Back in 1975, we could not have imagined just how far we’d come and how many loyal customers we’d have today,” said Bill Boyd, Boyd Gaming’s co-founder and Executive Chairman. “We’re honored to have so many new and longtime customers with us to celebrate this special anniversary!”
Thousands of customers watched from 21 properties across the United States as Bill Boyd hosted a simulcast from Sam’s Town Hotel and Gambling Hall in Las Vegas. When Linda’s name was called, spectators broke out in cheers at Jokers Wild Casino, where Linda qualified for the grand prize drawing.
“We’re so glad that Linda helped us celebrate this huge milestone in our Company’s history,” said Nellie White, Director of Operations at Jokers Wild. “And, taking home $40,000 is a great ‘thank you’ for celebrating with us!”
