The Downtown Las Vegas Events Center (DLV) will host Bret MichaelsLife Rocks Tour with a concert for a cause held under the stars on Friday, Nov. 7

Five dollars from every ticket will go directly to Bret Michaels’ own Life Rocks Foundation, benefiting a myriad of charity organizations championed by the legendary rock star.

From raising awareness for diabetes, a disease he has lived with his entire life, to supporting the troops, Bret Michaels puts as much passion into charitable outreach as he does his music. Personally and through his Life Rocks Foundation, he has helped raised tens of millions of dollars while inspiring countless fans to engage in philanthropic efforts. Michaels’ Life Rocks Tour thrills crowds with hits spanning the rocker’s solo career and time as front man of iconic metal band Poison with the goal of raising funds for causes closest to his heart. The Nov. 7 concert at Downtown Las Vegas’ new open-air events center will benefit organizations including Operation Homefront and the American Diabetes Association.

A celebrated singer-songwriter, actor and director/producer, Michaels is a multi-talented entertainer who first shot to fame as the lead vocalist of Poison, one of the most successful rock ‘n’ roll’ bands of all time. The band has sold more than 45 million records worldwide with chart-topping hits including “Every Rose Has Its Thorn,” “Nothin’ But A Good Time,” and “Talk Dirty To Me.”

A reality television superstar with some of the highest rated reality shows in history, Michaels starred on Rock of Love with Bret Michaels and was the winning contestant on NBC’s Celebrity Apprentice 3. He recently released solo album Jammin’ with Friends, featuring collaborations with Jimmy Buffett, Miley Cyrus and Loretta Lynn along with other musical stars. His talent, business acumen and natural candor have made him one of the most sought after performers, keeping him on the road for the last 10 years.

DLV will offer FREE tickets to the special event to all veterans, military, law enforcement, fire and medical personnel. ID is required to redeem and limited to four tickets per ID. The free tickets may be picked up at the D Las Vegas’ box office at anytime or on the day of the event at DLV’s box office beginning at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 7.
