British Band The Cult Comes to Rock at Primm Valley Resort & Casino
Tickets are now on sale to see The Cult live in concert on Saturday, Oct. 8 at Star of the Desert Arena in Primm. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the concert begins at 8 p.m.

Acknowledged as one of the greatest British rock bands of the 1980s and 90s, The Cult has recently made a rapid comeback. The band has produced many hits over the years, including “She Sells Sanctuary,” which peaked at No. 15 in the U.K. and spent a total of 23 weeks in the Top 100, along with other singles such as “Love Removal Machine” and “Fire Woman.” Rolling Stone hailed their 2014 Coachella performance as “the Messianic moment of Coachella.” This year, The Cult opened for numerous Guns N’ Roses shows around the world.

Produced by the renowned Bob Rock and written by The Cult’s lead vocalist Ian Astbury and guitarist Billy Duffy, the band will be performing songs off of their new album released earlier this year, “Hidden City.” This is the band’s tenth studio album and the final installment in their trilogy that began with 2007’s “Born Into This” and continued with 2012’s “Choice of Weapon.”

“We are excited to have an internationally popular and incredibly talented band like The Cult performing at Star of the Desert Arena,” said Shana Gerety, vice president of marketing at Primm Valley Casino Resorts. “Fans who come out to Primm will enjoy a great show while also experiencing all the other amenities we have to offer.”

Tickets start at $25 and room packages including two concert tickets and a one-night stay at Buffalo Bills are available for $109.95 plus taxes and resort fees.
