Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas Carves out Scary Good Time for Halloween with Trey Anastasio Band

Joining the previously announced Trey Anastasio Band shows taking place Friday, Oct. 27, and Saturday, Oct. 28, at 7 p.m. are the Push On ‘Til The Brunch And Bowling Tournament (named after the Anastasio song “Push On ‘Til the Day”) on Saturday, Oct. 28 and a matinee performance by D.J. Williams’ Bowls Fired – a musical collective featuring artists from Trey Anastasio Band, Dave Matthews Band and Slightly Stoopid, among others – on Sunday, Oct. 29. This All-Star “Strike The Hate” Concert will benefit the Las Vegas Victim’s Fund.

PUSH ON ‘TIL THE BRUNCH AND BOWLING TOURNAMENT

Relix, the pop culture music magazine published by Brooklyn Bowl founder Peter Shapiro, is hosting an afternoon of brunch and a prize-packed bowling tournament, beginning at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 28 at Brooklyn Bowl. The Push On ‘Til The Brunch And Bowling Tournament will take place on the second day of Trey Anastasio Band’s Halloween Weekend run at the iconic bowling alley and concert hall on The Linq Promenade.

Teams can be comprised of five to eight players. Entry to the tournament is $99 per team. Two total games will be bowled by each team, and both games must be completed by 4 p.m. After each game, the top five individual scores per team will be added together to make up each team’s final score. After both rounds, the team with the highest cumulative 10-game score will be crowned the winner.

The First-Place team will receive a $300 food and beverage credit and access to a box for Trey Anastasio Band’s Saturday night show (Oct. 28), as well as a Relix and Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas prize pack. The Second-Place team will receive access to a box for Saturday night’s Trey Anastasio Band show and a Relix and Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas Prize Pack.

ALL-STAR “STRIKE THE HATE” CONCERT

D.J. Williams (guitar, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe) has assembled an all-star cast of musicians featuring members of some of today’s most notable jam bands for a matinee show at Brooklyn Bowl on Sunday, Oct. 29. Doors for the “Strike the Hate” concert open at 2 p.m., and lunch will be served throughout the venue. The Bowls Fired – Vegas Edition – band will include Williams, Rashawn Ross (trumpet, Dave Matthews Band), Andy Geib (trombone, Slightly Stoopid), James Casey (saxophone, Trey Anastasio Band), Todd Stoops (keyboards, Electric Beethoven), John Staten (drums, Pimps of Joytime) and Chris Stillwell (bass, Greyboy Allstars).

TREY ANASTASIO BAND

Singer, songwriter, composer and legendary jam artist Trey Anastasio brings his namesake Trey Anastasio Band to Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas for a two-night run, Friday, Oct. 27 and Saturday, Oct. 28.

The multi-talented Phish front man, and his band return to Brooklyn Bowl, having played the same holiday weekend (Oct. 30 and 31) in 2015. In their previous visit to the venue, Trey Anastasio Band played a variety of original tunes, Phish favorites and songs by Led Zeppelin and even Jimmy Webb’s “MacArthur Park.”
