Texas singer-songwriter, Kevin Fowler, will bring his unmistakable brand of country to Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas on Thursday, June 2 at 9 p.m.
Fowler recently took a couple of years to take stock of his artistic career, launch his own record label, then write and record “How Country Are Ya?” his latest self-released album, the old-fashioned way. “This one is on my own label with my buddies like we used to make records,” said Fowler. “I wanted to feel right at home, go back to the well, and not get into any outside influences. I really felt like I wanted to make music closer to all my anthems that people scream along to at shows.”

West Coast reggae rockers Tomorrows Bad Seeds and longtime underground sensation Big B will bring the rhythm and the rhyme to Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas on Saturday, June 11 at 9 p.m.
Tomorrows Bad Seeds, “leaders of the new school,” is a five-piece American band from The South Bay of Los Angeles formed in 2004. Their Southern California influences helped yield their unparalleled sound; a perfect mix of reggae, rock & pop. From hood, b-boy and street to surf and skate culture, “The Seeds” grew into a multi-cultural musical phenomenon with a cause. Meet The Seeds: Moises Juarez (lead-vocals), Sean Chapman (vocals/guitar), Matthew McEwan (vocals/guitar), Patrick Salmon (drums) and Andre Davis (bass).
Las Vegas local BIG B has been an underground heavyweight (literally) since he first debuted on the scene with ‘High Class White Trash’ in 2004. However, he made his presence known in the mainstream this past summer when his single “Sinner”, which featured Scott Russo from Unwritten Law, exploded in the Alternative Rock radio format and became the anthem for that summer, garnering heavy airplay from the world-famous KROQ amongst others.

Comedian-turned-unlikely songwriter and performance powerhouse Craig Robinson brings his band, Craig Robinson & The Nasty Delicious, to Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas on Friday, July 15 at 9:30 p.m.
Regardless of what role you know Robinson from – Darryl Philbin from “The Office,” Nick Webber from “Hot Tub Time Machine,” or playing “himself” in “This is the End” – he is definitely a world away from his original career intentions. And Brooklyn Bowl will benefit from that on July 15. Forget that Robinson has degrees from Illinois State and Xavier Universities. Forget that he was a K-8 teacher in the Chicago Public School System. When his act hits the stage in Las Vegas, it will be a night of pure hilarity.

THE PSYCHEDELIC FURS w/ THE CHURCH

British rock outfit The Psychedelic Furs will invade Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas on Saturday, July 16 at 9 p.m. along with Aussie psychedelic rockers The Church.
The Psychedelic Furs, fronted by brothers Richard (lead vocals) and Tim (bass) Butler, became a prominent piece of England’s punk scene, emerging in 1977. Their first album, a self-titled debut in 1980, was produced by acclaimed producer Steve Lillywhite, who has also worked with artists such as U2, The Rolling Stones, Morrisey, Peter Gabriel and The Talking Heads, among others. The band achieved international renown when, in 1986, director John Hughes chose their track “Pretty in Pink” for his film of the same name.
The Church, an Australian psych-rock quartet formed in Sydney in 1980, has been described as performing “dense, shimmering guitar pop,” by the Los Angeles Times. Originally a part of the new wave movement of the early 1980s, The Church is best known in the US for their Top 40 hit “Under the Milky Way” which recently weaved its way back into pop culture thanks to a cover by recording artist Sia for a Lincoln MKT commercial.

BAYSIDE w/ THE MENZINGERS & SORORITY NOISE
FRIDAY, SEPT. 9 AT 8 P.M.
Queens, NY-based American punk rockers Bayside will hit the Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas stage on Friday, Sept. 9 at 8 p.m. along with The Menzingers and Sorority Noise.
Bayside, named for the region of the borough of Queens where the band formed, is Anthony Raneri (lead vocals/rhythm guitar), Jack O’Shea (lead guitar), Nick Ghanbarian (bass) and Chris Guglielmo (drums). The maturation of Bayside through the years is a byproduct of its transformation. Tragedy struck when the band’s tour van careened off an icy Wyoming road on Halloween night in 2005, killing drummer John “Beatz” Holohan. Several songs memorialize the late percussionist, serving as just one of many reasons for the band’s emotionally-driven and energetic performances.
The Menzingers, formed from the dissolution of Scranton, Penn. ska- and pop-punk bands Bob and the Sagets and Kos Mos, is Greg Barnett (guitar/vocals), Tom May (guitar/vocals), Eric Keen (bass) and Joe Godino (drums). Their debut album, “A Lesson in the Abuse of Information Technology,” was produced by Jesse Cannon, who noted, “I record bands every day, and almost all of them are missing something. The Menzingers have it all – the songs, the aggression, the heart and the passion that most only dream of.”
Sorority Noise, riding a brief but successful history, formed in Hartford, Conn. in 2013. The band – Cameron Boucher (guitar/vocals), Ryan McKenna (bass/vocals), Adam Ackerman (guitar/vocals) and Charlie Singer (drums) – released their most recent EP, “It Kindly Stopped For Me” on April 22. Each of the four songs on the seven-inch release is dedicated to a friend lost by Boucher.

North Carolina-based American folk rock band The Avett Brothers, known for their honest dedication to storytelling through song, played an unforgettable three-night engagement at Brooklyn Bowl in late August of 2014. The band, comprised of the four-piece core of brothers Scott and Seth Avett, as well as Bob Crawford (bass) and Joe Kwon (cello), returns for a night of “Emotionalism.” The Avett Brothers are touring in support of their latest album “True Sadness,” set to be released on June 24, 2016.
