Brooklyn Bowl Rounds Out Spring Lineup of Powerhouse Female Talent with Return of Phantogram

The addition of Phantogram, with Barthel at the helm, bolsters a spring lineup already rife with explosive female talent, all making the trip from (or on the way to) the festival grounds in Indio, Calif. to play at the famed Brooklyn Bowl stage. The Head And The Heart (April 11), Oh Wonder (April 12), Kehlani (April 20) and Tove Lo (April 21) will all headline Brooklyn Bowl. In addition, Margo Price, the throwback country sensation from the Midwest, will open for Jamey Johnson (April 28).

“There is so much killer talent out there, and there is no more important time to shine a light on the powerful female performers we have in the music scene today than right now,” said Chris White, senior vice president of Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas. “It’s exciting for us to see artists make their return and to keep coming back – it kind of validates what we all feel about how special this venue is, and we’re proud to offer the amazing fans here these great encore performances.”

Phantogram returns to Brooklyn Bowl for the first time since the release of their 2016 album “Three,” on which the duo explores a darker sound, adding new textures to their signature style. The album was heavily influenced by the death of Barthel’s sister (also Carter’s close friend) by suicide; the heavier, murkier sound of “Three” is a product of the duo’s experience in dealing with the loss and redefining themselves as individuals and as a collaborative team.

Doors for Phantogram at Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas open at 7:30 p.m. This show is for ages 18+. General admission tickets start at $29.50 (plus applicable service fees) and are on sale to the public on Friday, March 10, at 10 a.m. PT at the Brooklyn Bowl box office, by calling 877.987.6487 or online at http://ticketf.ly/2lBjIG9.
