Buddy Guy to Perform at Star of the Desert Arena in Primm March 24, 2018

are on sale now for Buddy Guy in concert on Saturday, March 24 at the Star of the Desert Arena in Primm. Guests will enjoy blues favorites from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee including “Mustang Sally,” “Ain’t No Sunshine,” and “Feels Like Rain.” 

Guy’s musical roots lead back to his birthplace of Louisiana, where his interest in music led him to make his first guitar, which was later donated to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. As a decorated musician, songwriter, and guitarist, Guy is known for performing various genres of blues, including blues electric, blues rock, and pioneering Chicago’s fabled westside sound. Over the span of his nearly 50-year career, Guy has earned seven Grammy Awards, a Lifetime Achievement Grammy Award, the Billboard Magazine Century Award for Distinguished Artistic Achievement, Presidential National Medal of Arts, and a Kennedy Center Honor, in addition to 37 Blues Music Awards.

“Buddy Guy is an incredibly talented artist, and we are honored to have him perform at the Star of the Desert Arena,” said Shana Gerety, vice president of marketing at Primm Valley Casino Resorts. “I have no doubt guests will leave the arena inspired and in awe of his performance.”

Doors open at 7 p.m., and the show begins at 8 p.m. Tickets start at $25.
