Led by Caesars Palace President Gary Selesner, the street naming celebration included a proclamation by Clark County Commissioner Steve Sisolak, who also presented Renaud with the Key to the Las Vegas Strip. Line Renaud Road is located near the resort’s Augustus Tower valet entrance, off Flamingo Road.

After the official street sign unveiling ceremony, more than 50 of her closest friends and colleagues joined Renaud for a reception at renowned Restaurant Guy Savoy at Caesars Palace. VIP guests in attendance included esteemed magicians Siegfried Fischbacher and Roy Horn, as well as actress and singer Pia Zadora. The celebration featured speeches in honor of Renaud by Selesner, Commissioner Sisolak, Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman and Robin Leach. Renaud concluded the evening with a heartfelt speech recounting her unforgettable memories at Caesars Palace and in Las Vegas throughout the past five decades.
Renaud boasts a versatile career as a recording artist, performer and actress that has spanned more than 70 years. Her contributions to the Las Vegas Strip include assisting the founders of Caesars Palace with designing various aspects of the resort’s guest rooms and showroom before its opening in 1966, including the selection of linens, marble, flooring and stage platforms.
“Line’s extraordinary contributions to Caesars Palace brought class and savoir faire to the Las Vegas Strip,” said Selesner. “We are honored to recognize Line for her career-long accomplishments in entertainment, performing arts and AIDS activism in France and the United States.”
In addition to her partnership with Caesars Palace, Renaud starred in a beloved revue show, “Casino de Paris,” at the Dunes in the 1960s. She was also instrumental in the creation of a second Caesars Entertainment resort, Paris Las Vegas, and its iconic Eiffel Tower replica in the late 1990s.
Renaud’s career boasts numerous awards and accolades, including the Grand Prix du Disque for “Ma cabane au Canada,” three César Awards nominations for Best Supporting Actress in France and a star on the Walk of Stars in Las Vegas and Palm Springs.
