Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop Awards Las Vegas Man $10,000
Las Vegas resident Curt Smith just won $10,000, and it all started with a cheesesteak. Capriotti’s ran a sweepstakes contest from May through June that offered a scratch-off card with every sandwich purchase (Pictured: Winner Curt Smith, Franchisee Michael Solomon, Capriotti’s President Jason Smylie).
One lucky winner was to be chosen for an ultimate prize of $10,000 – and that one winner was Smith!
Smith just moved from Montana and has only been in Vegas 6 weeks, and was previously unfamiliar with the Capriotti’s concept. He sought out the sandwich brand after receiving a recommendation from his father-in-law, and went to his nearest shop at Aliante Casino + Hotel.
It was there that Smith had the best cheesesteak of his l life and rest, as they say, is history.
