Carlos Santana Celebrates New “Guitar Heaven” Album with Special Live Performance
After celebrating his new album at Vanity Night Club (click here for photos), Carlos Santana treated fans to a special performance of Supernatural Santana: A Trip Through The Hits at The Joint in Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas (Photo: © Erik Kabik/ RETNA/ www.erikkabik.com).
Santana and guest vocalists India.Arie, Chris Daughtry and Gavin Rossdale performed songs from the new album, Guitar Heaven: The Greatest Guitar Classics of All Time.

Of the guest vocalists, india.arie took the stage first to sing the album’s first single, “While My Guitar Gently Weeps.” She then did a surprise tribute of Billie Holiday’s song “God Bless The Child.”

Later that evening, Chris Daughtry had fans on their feet when he performed “Photograph” and Gavin Rossdale entertained the crowd with his rendition of “Bang A Gong.” Rossdale also sang “She’s Not There.” The crowd was peppered with celebrities showing their support for Santana such as Olivia Harrison, Bill Walton, Mary Wilson and Rick Harrison, from History Channel’s reality TV show, Pawn Stars.
