Habitat for Humanity
will be creating a community of multiple homes in the Pittman community of Henderson. Along with that announcement, Carlos Santana and House of Blues Las Vegas celebrated Santana’s 5th anniversary at the music venue by unveiling the first of five wood benches titled “LOVE,” created by local woodworker Kerm Sablan and local artist Justin Lepper (Photo credit: Denise Truscello / WireImage)

These benches were created in honor of the guitar legend (a traditional 5th anniversary gift being wood!) and will eventually live within the new Habitat community to help spark conversations, turn neighbors into friends, and evoke the spirit of community. Additionally, House of Blues and Santana’s Milagro Foundation are donating a portion of September ticket sales to help the initial build.

Santana has performances at House of Blues today, as well as Friday – Sunday. The first bench will be on display at House of Blues in Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino until mid-2018 when the benches are set to arrive at their new home.
