Shinedown makes their triumphant return to the Carnival of Madness after headlining the 2010 inaugural launch, with a lineup that also included Sevendust, Chevelle, Puddle of Mudd, and 10 Years.  The first Carnival of Madness proved to be one of the biggest tours of the summer, heralded as a Top 50 tour by Pollstar.  Last year’s trek featured Evanescence, Chevelle, Halestorm, and New Medicine.

Shinedown is indisputably one of the most successful rock bands of the past 10+ years, enjoying an unparalleled streak of hits.  The band’s current album, Amaryllis, entered the Billboard “Top 200 Albums” chart at #4 upon its release (#1 on the “Top Rock Albums” chart), and has already spawned three consecutive #1 singles with “Bully,” “Unity,” and “Enemies.”  Over the course of their illustrious career, Shinedown has scored a staggering 17 #1 singles (including their current streak of 10 consecutive #1 rock radio hits).  The band’s latest single, I’ll Follow You,” is currently #3 on the rock chart.  The band’s performance of the song for their just-released The Live Room EP can be viewed at The Warner Sound.  One of the most exciting live rock acts, Pollstar has listed Shinedown’s most recent headlining trek on their Top 20 Concert Tours of 2013.  The band’s unprecedented ascendancy over multi-format rock radio commenced with their RIAA Platinum-certified 2003 debut Leave A Whisper, its Gold-certified 2005 follow-up, Us And Them, and 2008’s Platinum-certified The Sound of Madness.  Shinedown’s numerous national television appearances include performances on ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!,” NBC’s “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” and “The Today Show,” CBS’ “The Early Show,” among others.

Shinedown is also releasing The Live Room EP in conjunction with the tour announcement.  Available at leading digital retailers starting today, the five song-collection features tracks from the band’s fourth studio album, Amaryllis, recorded live at Henson Studios (formerly the historic A&M Studios) in Hollywood, CA.  Highlights include audio and video performances of Shinedown’s current single “I’ll Follow You,” chart-topping smash “Bully”, and rendition of Carole King’s “I Feel The Earth Move.”

Proving that they haven’t gone anywhere, Papa Roach recently scored yet another #1 radio hit, which is their career fifth and comes 13 years after their first with “Last Resort.” “Where Did The Angels Go” topped the active rock radio chart, according to BDS/Billboard.  Very few bands have achieved #1 success at multiple times spanning over a decade – a feat that Papa Roach is highly underrated for accomplishing.  The single comes from the band’s latest acclaimed album, The Connection (Eleven Seven Music), which was released in October 2012 and debuted as the #2 rock album on iTunes.  Revolver declared the album, “a fist-pumping return to form…”  Papa Roach has sold upwards of 10 million albums worldwide.  The band boasts two Grammy® nominations, an MTV VMA nomination, as well as eleven Top 10 rock hits, seven Top 10 alternative hits and can claim the Most Played Alternative  Song of the Decade (BDS) with their breakthrough single “Last Resort.”  The band also recently surpassed 4 million fans on Facebook.  Known for their electrifying and explosive live shows, Papa Roach has become the common denominator for some of the most successful rock tours in recent years.

Two-time Grammy-nominated rock band Skillet recently made headlines when their last album, Awake, became one of just three rock albums to be certified Platinum in 2012, forming an improbable triumvirate with the Black Keys’ El Camino and Mumford & Sons’ Babel. The news that Skillet had sold more than a million albums in the U.S. came as a shock to all but the band’s wildly diverse horde of fans.  AWAKE debuted at #2 on Billboard’s “Top 200 Albums” chart and #1 on the magazine’s “Top Modern Rock/Alternative Albums” chart.  In addition, the record hit #1 on iTunes’ Top Album Chart, garnered three Billboard Music Awards and spawned four hit singles including the #1-charting, Gold-certified “Awake & Alive,” the Gold-certified “Hero,” “It’s Not Me It’s You” and the Platinum-certified “Monster.”  “Monster” lived up to its name, selling more than a million copies while its companion video has generated over 52 million YouTube views. The hook-happy “Hero” was featured in season-long spots for NBC’s NFL Sunday Night Football and served as the official theme song for WWE’s Royal Rumble Pay-Per-View. The band toured endlessly in support, playing to sold-out crowds across the country, which earned them a spot on Pollstar’s Concert Pulse Chart of the Top 50 Tours for Fall of 2010. The band is now gearing up for the June 25th release of new album, Rise. Anticipation surrounding the album is red-hot, thanks to two new songs, “Sick Of It” and “American Noise,” both of which hit #1 on the iTunes Rock Chart.
