Carrot Top Joins the Pink Movement
Comedian Carrot Top is joining in the fight against breast cancer by donating a prized guitar to the Hard Rock Café

This pink guitar is no ordinary guitar; it has been signed over the course of a year by various musicians that have been backstage after seeing Carrot Top’s show. The guitar bears the signatures of Roger Taylor from Queen, Vince Neil, REO Speedwagon, members of Pantera, and many more.

The guitar will be auctioned off at the end of this month at the Hard Rock Café on the strip during a breast cancer awareness fashion show. All proceeds will go to breast cancer research.

“I’m thrilled to do my part to help breast cancer research,” said Scott “Carrot Top” Thompson. “I plan on doing it every year and we have already started next year’s pink guitar. The Hard Rock Café has been doing great promotion all month long so I want to thank them for putting this together.”

The guitar was donated yesterday in a ceremony and will stay on display at the Hard Rock Café until the end of the month. The Hard Rock Café has been running Pink-tober promotions all month long. It began with PEEPSHOW star Holly Madison cutting the pink ribbon at the beginning of the month and will culminate with a very special fashion show on October 30. The fashion show will feature breast cancer survivors and local news personalities, and will be hosted by Steph McKenzie from KXPT and Angel Porrino from “Holly’s World”.
