Casino Player Hits Big With $1 Million Jackpot at Golden Gate Hotel & Casino
On Tuesday, June 5, a Wisconsin woman Rhonda L hit big with a $1.4 million jackpot win at the iconic Golden Gate Hotel & Casino in Downtown Las Vegas. Playing the Million Degrees game by Scientific Games on the casino floor, the payout will be the largest jackpot payout in history for the property.

“She is a big fan of the D and Golden Gate so we really couldn’t have asked for a better winner,” said CEO and owner Derek Stevens. “This is the biggest payout of my career in Las Vegas and our lucky casino player has made the experience unforgettable.”

The winner was in town for a Bingo tournament when she hit the big prize. She intentionally went to win the car promotion that the Golden Gate has been running but is overwhelmed with excitement about the unexpected news. Taking pictures with Derek Stevens, Golden Gate has plans to post the winner’s picture on the Million Degrees machine. She will walk away with a total of $1,453,640.47.
