Castle Walk Food Court Introduces Schlotzsky’s Grand Opening
Castle Walk Food Court inside the Excalibur Hotel & Casino will celebrate the grand opening of famed sandwich shop Schlotzsky’s in late May.
The newest dining addition will become a company milestone, marking the first location on the world-renowned Las Vegas Strip in the Excalibur Hotel & Casino. Schlotzsky’s will treat guests to delectable oven-toasted sandwiches, specialty pizzas, wraps, fresh salads, gourmet soups and more. Schlotzsky’s uses the highest quality ingredients and is often credited as delivering the world’s best sandwich.
Introduced in 1971 in Austin, Texas, Schlotzsky’s quickly became a favorite due to their signature creation, The Original sandwich. Modeled after the muffulettas in New Orleans’ French Quarter, the Original features meats, cheeses, lettuce, tomato, olives and dressing stuffed into hot, freshly-made Fresh-from-Scratch sourdough buns. Fast forward to today, the small-town company has gone from a one-stop, one-product shop to a global sensation with its distinguished Fresh-from-Scratch line-up, which now includes pizzas, salads, soups and other items.
