Celebrate 60 outstanding years of the Riviera Hotel & Casino: Pia Zadora and Engelbert Humperdinck
Riviera Hotel & Casino
is counting down its final weeks with a look back at some of the highlights, fun facts, celebrity sightings and rarely-seen photos that have helped build the iconic stature of the Las Vegas Strip’s first high-rise hotel and casino (Pictured: Pia Zadora and Engelbert Humperdinck)

Week four of #RivFacts takes a look at singer and Golden Globe Award-winning actress Pia Zadora, who in addition to performing at the renowned property throughout the 1970s and 1980s alongside the likes of Bob Newhart, Bobby Vinton, Neil Sedaka and Tony Orlando, was married to previous Riviera Hotel & Casino owner Meshulam Riklis.

Zadora is seen below with legendary singer Engelbert Humperdinck, who in addition to making his Las Vegas debut at the property in 1969, recorded the live album Live at the Riviera, Las Vegas. The album, which was released in 1972, peaked at number 45 on the Billboard Hot 200 chart.

The Riviera Hotel & Casino will close on Monday, May 4, 2015.
