Celebrate Endangered Species Day at Shark Reef Aquarium and Siegfried & Roy’s Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat May 19
In celebration of Endangered Species Day, Shark Reef Aquarium at Mandalay Bay and Siegfried & Roy’s Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat at The Mirage invite guests to participate in educational activities that demonstrate the importance of protecting the world’s wildlife currently on the brink of extinction. 

Shark Reef Aquarium

Visit the more than 2,000 animals in this exhibit while learning about the world’s endangered species that can be found both at the aquarium and in the wild. Educational booths will be set up throughout the exhibit to showcase real shark jaws, turtle shells, shark teeth and more to teach visitors about wildlife trafficking. As guests wind their way through the aquarium, they’ll learn about the Association of Zoos & Aquarium’s Saving Animals From Extinction (SAFE) program, which includes a focus on sharks, sea turtles, cheetahs and other select animals facing extinction.

Price:
Admission is $25 for adults; $19 for children (4 ­ 12); Children 3 and younger are free. Nevada residents with a valid ID receive discounted admission. Admission includes entry into Shark Reef Aquarium and Polar Journey.

Siegfried & Roy’s Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat

Learn about some of the world’s most endangered species and participate in educational activities while enjoying the relaxing atmosphere of the Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat. Be part of a “selfie” inspired scavenger hunt that runs throughout the habitat; partake in Endangered Species BINGO in the Sustainability Discovery Center; and visit a variety of educational stations that allow guests to discover what action we can take to help conserve the world we all share.

Children 12 and under who come wearing a costume or mask that represents an endangered animal will receive complimentary admission.
