Celebrate Filet Mignon Day on Aug. 13 at Oscar’s Steakhouse with Two Mouthwatering Specials
Did you know that next Monday, Aug. 13 is National Filet Mignon DayOscar’s Steakhouse at the Plaza Hotel & Casino, known for its mouthwatering, perfectly aged steaks cooked over a 600 degree grill is celebrating with two filet mignon dinner specials.

Diners can choose from a special 12 oz. filet stuffed with blue cheese or a filet mignon trio consisting of three 4 oz. filets that are blackened, grilled with lobster bordelaise, and bacon wrapped. Each filet mignon special is $48 and available in Oscar’s dining room under the Plaza’s iconic glass dome overlooking the Fremont Street Experience.

These specials are in addition to Joey C’s filet mignon (available as an 8 oz. or 12 oz. filet), a longtime favorite on the regular dinner menu. The signature menu item is named after former mob attorney and Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman’s friend Joey Cusumano, who in spite of never having any gaming related problems with the law, is in the legendary Black Book and barred from ever stepping foot in a casino due to his friendship with Tony Spilotro, a notorious client of Goodman’s who was accused of killing 27 people.

Reservations for dinner at Oscar’s are recommended by calling 702-38-OSCAR or 702-386-7227 or online at www.oscarslv.com.
