Celebrate Kisses and Disses this Valentine’s Day at Aliante Casino + Hotel + Spa

Aliante Casino + Hotel + Spa, a AAA Four Diamond resort, will offer a variety of Valentine’s Day options ideal for both lovers and haters with specialty menus at four signature restaurants, several intimate spa packages , a concert by the Dazz Band and a ‘Love Stinks, Let’s Drink’ party on Friday, Feb. 14 (Pictured: MRKT Chocolate Truffles). 

DINING

Aliante’s signature steakhouse, MRKT, will open at 4 p.m. from Friday, Feb. 14, to Sunday, Feb. 16, featuring a four-course meal priced at $110 per couple. The lovers’ meal will begin with grilled sugarcane shrimp topped with mango salsa and a passion fruit puree, followed by a fresh strawberry field green salad mixed with sliced strawberries, California filled greens, black pepper and champagne vinaigrette topped with cacao nibs. The entrée course will be an 18-ounce sliced Chateaubriand tenderloin accompanied by roasted potatoes, seasonal vegetables and a pink peppercorn demi-glace sauce. Dessert will include an assortment of chocolate truffles.

The Salted Lime will also open at 4 p.m. during the holiday weekend and offer a three-course couples’ meal priced at $25 per pair. The meal will consist of shrimp ceviche tostadas, fajitas and strawberry flan topped with Mexican chocolate sauce for two.

Bistro 57, also open at 4 p.m., will serve a three-course couples’ menu featuring six bacon-wrapped dates, a seafood paella for two and an array of almond cookies for dessert, priced at $45 per couple.

The all-new FARM 24-7, a 24-hour farm-to-table café, will offer two large chocolate chip pancakes with strawberry sauce as a $7 breakfast special all weekend long. On Valentine’s Day, guests will also have the option to enjoy Seafood Night at Medley Buffet starting at $19.99 per person with a Players Club card.

HOTEL + SPA

Lovers looking for an intimate Valentine’s Day experience will enjoy several packages offered at the all-new re:lax spa. Individual treatments include the Decadent Body Dessert: a strawberry-champagne sugar scrub followed by an application of chocolate body butter for a fifty-minute Swedish massage, among others. Customizable gift cards are also available.

ENTERTAINMENT

The Grammy Award-winning Dazz Band, along with Tom Browne and Ronnie Laws, will set the mood for couples with “Soul of the Night” beginning at 8 p.m. inside Access Showroom. The Dazz Band, named as a fusion of ‘danceable jazz,’ is best known for the award-winning 1982 hit, “Let it Whip,” and has toured worldwide with notable bands such as Kool & The Gang, Earth, Wind & Fire and The Commodores. Tickets will start at $22.50.

The StarOne All-Stars will follow the performance with a lively after-party beginning at 10:30 p.m. featuring old-school R&B, jazz and funk favorites. Tickets for the after-party will start at $5 and admission is free with purchase of a “Soul of the Night” ticket. Fallen love-birds will bond over break-ups at the ‘Love Stinks, Let’s Drink’ party from 9 p.m. to midnight inside ETA Lounge. The flirtatious fling will feature a DJ spinning an energized mix of the latest hits, go-go dancers, aggressive drink specials, adult Mad Libs, a tarot card reader and a miniature Cupid impersonator passing love and lust notes back-and-forth between participants. Guests who bring a new or gently-used item from a former ex for the ‘burn box’ will receive a free spin on the ‘Wheel of Torture,’ awarding prizes including shots, gift cards and T-shirts. ‘Burn box’ items will be donated to a local charity.
