Celebrate the Year of the Pig with Hakkasan’s Specialty Menu Available from Jan. 28 – Feb. 24
In celebration of Chinese New Year, from Jan. 28 – Feb. 24, Hakkasan Las Vegas, located at MGM Grand Hotel, will reinvent the classic fortune cookie and offer both an a la carte and prix fixe specialty menu, as well as a curated cocktail (Pictured: Hakkasan Chinese Crispy Chicken Sticky Rice).
Hakkasan Chinese Fortune Macarons
The fortunes will be written on a ribbon and placed around the Hakkasan macarons, to create the fortune macaron. The fortune macarons will be available as part of the Chinese New Year set menu and also a la carte.

The specialty menu features a variety of small eats, main dishes and desserts. Small eats include peking duck with crispy bean curd and mango, a dim sum duo with seafood sesame jian dui and shacha chicken puff, and a superior soup with Chilean seabass and bamboo pith. Main dishes include wok-fry lobster with spinach and lily bulb, rhug estate lamb with shitake, stir-fry pak choi with cryngii and pioppini, and crispy suckling pig with sticky rice. For dessert, guests will indulge in the wealth pot, featuring dark chocolate, mandarin and crispy hazelnut, or the fortune macarons. A la carte menu items are priced starting at $18. The prix fixe menu is available for $128 per person for a minimum of two guests.
Hakkasan Chinese Flower Dim Sum
In addition to the specialty menu, the luxury restaurant will also offer the ping jing cocktail during the near month-long celebration. The cocktail includes Haku vodka, Campari, vanilla liqueur, chamomile tea, blood orange, lemon and yuzu soda and is priced at $16.
Hakkasan Restaurant will also celebrate the Year of the Pig with the wishing tree tradition inspired by the Lam Tseun trees in Hong Kong. Hakkasan will be inviting guests to write their wishes for the year ahead on specially designed ribbons which will then be hung on the wooden cages in the restaurant.
In addition to the menu, Hakkasan will also host a traditional lion dance to celebrate Chinese New Year Day on Tuesday, Feb. 5 at 8 p.m.
