Celebrate World Wildlife Day at Siegfried & Roy’s Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat March 1-3
In celebration of this year’s World Wildlife Day theme “Life Below Water: for people and planet,” Siegfried & Roy’s Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat at The Mirage invites guests to participate in interactive educational activities designed to demonstrate the importance of protecting the world’s marine life.
This will be the first year the day is dedicated to life below water and the unique ecosystem of our planet’s oceans.
Activities and information stations located throughout the Dolphin Habitat and Sustainability Center will raise guests’ awareness to the breathtaking diversity of marine life, the relationship between oceans and human civilization, and how small steps of individuals can create positive change for future generations.
This year, Siegfried & Roy’s Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat partnered with Clark County School District middle schools to conduct research on ocean conservation. The students’ research results will be on display to guests in the underwater viewing area of the Dolphin Habitat.
