Celebrated Chef Nobu Matsuhisa to Host Exclusive Aruga Branca Wine Dinner Sept. 9
Chef Nobu Matsuhisa
and master of wine, Yuji Aruga of Aruga Branca wines from Katsunuma Jyozo Winery, will host an exclusive Japanese wine dinner at Nobu Restaurant and Lounge at Caesars Palace on Saturday, Sept. 9 (Photo credit: Erik Kabik / www.ErikKabik.com).

This will be the first event of its kind held in Las Vegas, though Nobu and Yuji have a long-standing friendship. Guests will be served cocktails and canapes upon arrival, and then will be seated for an unforgettable seven-course Omakase wine-paired dinner in an intimate setting, led by the two Masters. Pairings will feature blends only available in Japan, making this a once-in-a-lifetime experience for most of those attending.

While sake is most often tied with Japanese cuisine, wine has been produced in Japan since the early 1800s with the high demand from the West. Katsunuma-cho is now one of the world’s great winemaking regions and Katsunuma Jyozo Winery is one of the primary creators of fine wines within the region. The founder Yoshichika Aruga started making wines in 1937 and promised to “make only wines of great quality, even if we produce just one barrel.” This tradition continues today – producing and improving wines that express to the fullest Katsunuma’s history and culture.

Guests should not miss out on this rare opportunity, at $395++ per person. To reserve your seat, please contact ilegchilina@caesars.com.
