Celebrity, TV and Movie Slot Machines in Las Vegas
Over the years we’ve announced dozens of new slot machines, many of which use the names and images of famous celebrities, TV shows and hit movies. Some of these slots were specifically designed to promote current shows at the casino. This is a recap of some of our favorite slot sightings (Pictured: Penn & Teller’s first slot game at Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino).
The licensing of a celebrity image doesn’t guarantee profitability. Casinos constantly evaluate the profit capabilities of every slot machine and an underperforming machine will quickly be taken off the casino floor and INSERT d with a new one. If you’re wondering if a certain slot machine is still in operation, you can ask around in some of the bigger casinos. A few slot manufacturers provide lists of their slots and where they are located. But if you don’t feel like searching all over town for a specific slot game, Online Casino Bluebook is a great resource to find an online casino in which you can play online from the comfort of your home.
Keep in mind that it costs a lot of money to license a famous celebrity’s name and likeness. Your favorite celebrity slot machine might be keeping a little more of your money just to pay for that celebrity license.
