“Chase The Sun” During Red Bull Summer Solstice at Chateau Nightclub & Gardens June 24

Building upon the European Midsummer’s Day festivals, Red Bull now brings a high-energy American version of the historic celebration, Red Bull Solstice, to Chateau Nightclub & Gardens on Friday, June 24. The festivities take place during “Solstice Week” and marks the longest day of the year.  

Guests are strongly encouraged to “chase the sun” by wearing yellow and/or gold attire as they party all night during this highly stylized, “modern primitive” event. The celestial-inspired party fosters the tribal, sun-worshiping vibe with dynamic performances by drummers and belly dancers.

Acclaimed Canadian DJ King Richard headlines the event and joins Chateau’s resident celebrity DJ, Samantha Ronson, who entertains in the main room. King Richard first burst onto the scene with his 2008 release, a remix of “Speed For Life,” which reached No. 21 on the Beatport charts. Pete Tong, Dean Coleman, and Lee Cult were among the first to sample his work at the 2008 Winter Music conference in Miami. Since then, the Montreal-based DJ has played the international circuit extensively, including a recent, successful stint in South America.

The energy of Red Bull Solstice goes all night, and shifts into overdrive at 3 a.m. when the official Red Bull Solstice afterparty gets under way next door, at Gallery Nightclub at Planet Hollywood. Grammy-nominated DJ/producer and DJ Armand Van Helden of disco-house duo Duck Sauce headlines the event. Admission is free with a Red Bull Solstice wristband.

The true kick-off of summer in Las Vegas, Red Bull Solstice is produced by Las Vegas-based events and marketing company Movingsun. Tickets to Red Bull Solstice are $20 for women (local ladies complimentary admission) and $30 for men, all women enjoy complimentary champagne until midnight.
