Circus Couture was created by performers and employees of shows on the Las Vegas Strip and nourished by the arts community of Las Vegas to aid children with cancer.

Circus Couture’s “86 Peculiar Place” features both a silent and live art auction as well as explosive circus performances intertwined with outlandish runway fashion. “86 Peculiar Place” will take guests to a whimsical world where those deemed too bright, too strange, or too extraordinary for our world coexist in celebration of their oddity. In 2011, The Las Vegas Review Journal praised Circus Couture as “fast becoming one of the hippest and most entertaining charity nights of the year.” With their sister fundraising team Cirque du SoBald, Circus Couture has raised more than a quarter of a million dollars for pediatric cancer care and research since its inception.

“A cancer journey forces a child to go through many changes, both physical and emotional, that can make them wish for nothing greater than to feel normal. “86 Peculiar Place” was created to honor them, a magical place where residents must stand out to fit in,” said Erica Linz, Circus Couture Artistic Director. “Both the extraordinary, world champion talent gracing our stage and the spectacular fine art gallery represent the amazing kids we aim to help. They put the “art” in heart and the caliber of performance they bring to the cause is awe inspiring…”

Circus Couture’s “86 Peculiar Place” will be held in Reynolds Hall at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts. Tickets may be purchased at box office, online at www.thesmithcenter.com, or by calling: 702-749-2000. Tickets start at $15.
