Yesterday, March 2, “Run Away with Cirque du Soleil took over the Las Vegas Springs Preserve for the 18th annual 5K run and 1-mile walk. Supporting Springs Preserve and Cirque du Soleil foundations, participants enjoyed a fun-filled day alongside iconic Cirque du Soleil characters, from all six Las Vegas resident shows, while wearing Cirque-inspired costumes (Pictured: Cirque du Soleil artists pose with costume contest participants – Photo credit: Cashman Photos)

The morning kicked-off with beloved Las Vegas headliner Blue Man Group directing runners at the start line signaling the beginning of the race.

Attendees jogged through Springs Preserve’s beautiful desert terrain, and upon reaching the finish line, were treated to a circus play area, massage therapy, a performance by Trapeze Las Vegas and live music.

At the end of the successful fundraiser the 5K winners were announced along with the winner of the “show your Cirque side” costume contest, who received a behind-the-curtain package to The Beatles LOVE.
