Comedian Mike Hammer and his Celebrity Friends Raise Money for Charity at the “Mike Hammer Celebrity Go-Kart Race” at Gene Woods Racing Experience
Comedian Mike Hammer held his inaugural Mike Hammer Celebrity Go-Kart Race, a charity event benefitting ServingHopeLV, at Gene Woods Racing Experience in Las Vegas on Sunday, Dec. 27 (Pictured: Flavor Flav and Mike Hammer – Photo credit: Doc Ajay Johnson).
“The event was a huge success with a great turn out, said Mike. “I’m sure it was really good exposure for the charity.”

Representatives from the Gene Woods Racing Experience estimated an attendance of 250+ people including celebrities, VIP guests and racing fans.

Mike Hammer, 5-year headliner at Four Queens Hotel & Casino, called upon his celebrity friends and VIP guests in Las Vegas to help promote the event. Celebrities walking the red carpet included Flavor Flav, Robin Leach, Adrian Zmed, Clint Holmes, Lance Burton, Rasheda Ali (daughter of Muhammad Ali), Rita King (daughter of B.B. King), Lydia Ansel, Dirk Vermin, Zowie Bowie, Murray SawChuck, Jennifer Romas, Kelly Clinton-Holmes, Gerry McCambridge, Will Edwards, Brian Shapiro and Steve Connolly. Many of these celebrities raced against fans who donated $100 or more.

The winner for the trophies were: Cody Kelleher (local Go Kart racer), Taylor Barton (professional NASCAR driver) and Allen Woodman (15 time martial arts Hall of Fame inductee).
“Mike’s celebrity go-kart event was a great success and I was honored to lend any support towards the charity ServingHopeLV in their efforts to help feed the homeless,” said Electric & Acoustic Violinist Lydia Ansel.
