Comedy Magician Mac King Passes Entertainment Stimulus Plan

In spite of a tough economic recession, comedian magician Mac King plans to stimulate the economy by making people laugh. King has put together an “entertainment stimulus package” offering complimentary admission during the month of May for local families that have fallen on rough economic times.

“I believe that laughter is the best medicine and there is no way that family fun should be sacrificed just because of a gloomy economy,” said King. “This is just a small way for me to say ‘Thank you’ to the community that has always been so supportive of me. Of course, I hope the lucky ones that haven’t experienced hardship will still continue to pay to see my show.”

During the month of May, any Las Vegas resident experiencing financial hardship can present their Nevada ID to the Harrah’s box office to receive complimentary admission for two to the Mac King Comedy Magic Show. Tickets will be issued on a first come, first serve basis and based on availability. The Mac King Comedy Magic Show is performed Tuesday through Saturday at 1 and 3 p.m. at Harrah’s Las Vegas.

Mac King has been recognized with numerous accolades including “Favorite Male Las Vegan,” “Best Magician,” and “Best Bargain Show” by the Las Vegas-Review Journal “Best of Las Vegas” readers’ poll, “Funniest Act in Magic Today” by Magic Magazine, Magician of the Year by The Magic Castle, and “Entertainer of the Year” by the Las Vegas Weekly “Readers Choice Awards.”

King, one of today’s brightest and most talented magicians, takes the stage twice daily, Tuesday through Saturday, at Harrah’s Las Vegas at 1 and 3 p.m. in the Showroom Theatre. Tickets are $24.95 plus tax. Additional information on The Mac King Comedy Magic Show can be found by visiting www.mackingshow.com.
