Commonwealth to Serve Red, White and Booze Cocktails this Labor Day Weekend
Commonwealth
will serve stars and stripes-inspired red, white and blue specialty cocktails during Labor Day weekend from Friday, Aug. 30, until Sunday, Sept. 1.

Commonwealth will bring the heat with the Bonfire Squad cocktail, mixing Peligroso Cinnamon Tequila, lime juice, grenadine and soda. Patrons will live the American dream with the White Picket Fences concoction, made with Ciroc Peach Vodka, lemon juice, simple syrup and Bols Yogurt liqueur. The Downtown hot spot will also help drink away the blues with the Rockaway Beach cocktail. The refreshing drink combines Ketel One Vodka, lime juice, Blue Curacao and white cranberry juice.

Located at 525 E. Fremont St., Commonwealth is open Wednesday through Friday from 6 p.m. to close and 8 p.m. to close on Saturday and Sunday. More information is available by calling 702.798.7000, at www.CommonwealthLV.com, on Facebook and on Twitter.

Recently named one of the “7 New Reasons to Hit Las Vegas,” by the New York Post, Commonwealth brings a stylish new social scene to the burgeoning bar district in Downtown Las Vegas. The swanky 6,000-square-foot cocktail bar is a collision of art and architectural influences inspired by pre-Prohibition era design and libations; complete with its very own backroom speakeasy. Crystal chandeliers bring a touch of elegance to the overall design, which evokes a worn, industrial ambiance. The cocktail menu combines classic and progressive methods and ingredients to offer drinks like, “Men in Tights” and “Little Hot Mess,” that make an indelible impression. A rooftop bar offers an experiential setting with an urban brick feel and 360 degree views of downtown.
